IF celebrates two years of PA web business

Intelligent Finance celebrates the second anniversary of its dedicated Professional Adviser website with the announcement that nearly 35,000 mortgage applications have been placed by Advisers since the site launched in March 2001. These applications are worth over £3.5 billion.

The site enables end to end processing of applications for all Intelligent Finance products and provides approval in principle in one on-line session. The site continues to prove popular for other products in the bank's offering with over 50% of personal loan applications being placed on-line by Advisers.

Ian Jeffery, Sales & Marketing Director at Intelligent Finance, said: "We are delighted with the success of our broker website, www.broker.if.com, as these figures represent applications actually placed with the bank. They do not take into account the number of Advisers that simply log into the website to use the other tools on the site."

Tools on the broker website include consumer marketing literature which can be printed off by Advisers for their clients to take away, a calculator that shows the impact of offsetting and the benefits of overpaying on the flexible mortgage, viewing client's product history with Intelligent Finance and the ability to track the progress of cases being processed.

The integration between the telephone and web systems at Intelligent Finance means that brokers can also telephone the dedicated Adviser Business Centre at Intelligent Finance with any queries they may have on applications placed.
